This year, we’re going bigger, longer, farther, in search of the best Qatar adventures. We’re not content to just drive somewhere anymore, even if those road trips include awesome driving mixes and snacks. We’re looking for things to do and cool things to see to give us reason to leave the comfy confines of Doha. It’s time to hit the road! There is life outside Doha and we’re on a mission to find it!

It would be misleading to represent Doha as a latter-day New York: much of the new development has been given a heart but hasn’t yet acquired a soul. But that will come as more people flock to Doha, fascinated by the coverage it received during the Asian Games of 2006 and bringing with them the atmosphere that puts the ‘city’ into the buildings.
Doha is the capital of Qatar. It is a modern and rapidly developing city and, considering the money being poured into construction, Doha looks set to become one of the premier cities in the Gulf within a few years.
